NatureMetrics Named One of Sifted’s Sustain 100

NatureMetrics has been listed in Sifted‘s Sustain 100: the European sustainability startups to watch in 2021. This is a great recognition for NatureMetrics’ progress in establishing itself as a global leader in the field of environmental monitoring.

Sifted cherrypicked the 100 most innovative startups across climate tech, cleantech, GreenTech and beyond. They have selected companies with sustainability at the heart of their mission and messaging. Each of the companies selected is recognised to be providing necessary tech solutions to the climate crisis.  

NatureMetrics founder Dr Kat Bruce discusses how eDNA is bringing a new perspective to environmental management.  

Five years ago, NatureMetrics was a small team of people with a passion for DNA and its potential to change the way we manage biodiversity. Today, we are over 50 people working with clients all over the world and have monitored tens of thousands of species across five continents.

We plan to continue to expand and pioneer the applications of molecular monitoring to provide data that empowers people to make informed and data-driven decisions about how they manage the natural world.
